Office Staff
Lexus BarnesHuman Resources Coordinator
Lexus is the Human Resources Coordinator at Ballinger Home Health and Hospice. She is a Ballinger native and graduated from BHS in 2017. Lexus has been in multiple roles that involve organization for employees. Her goal is to continue to make sure all employees feel valued, heard, and taken care of. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, dancing, reading and traveling. When you put it all into words, “Ballinger Home Health and Hospice feels like home and there is no other place she would rather be.”
Angela FuentesAssistant Office Manager
Angela has been in the customer service business for over 20 years. She is the assistant office manager and enjoys working with people. Her kids are her greatest joy. She is a true homebody but in the last year has enjoyed adventuring in the outdoors. Hospice of Ballinger is her expertise but when speaking of BHH as a whole, she says she appreciates the hardworking women and the pleasant family atmosphere.
Becky KrestaCoder and Patient Coordinator
Becky has been with Ballinger Home Health for 23 years and a LVN for 37 years. She is our Coder and Patient Care Coordinator. Becky is very proud of Ballinger Home Health and Hospice as well as the amazing staff. Compassion and dedication to our patients is an honor, she strives every day to be the best she can for her co-workers and patients. Home Health and Hospice is defiantly her calling When speaking of BHH Becky says, “Blessed to not just enjoy my job, but to also have a family in the work place.”
Heather RoseAdministrative Assistant
Heather is a Ballinger Bearcat Graduate and has been a part of the Ballinger Home Health family since 2018. What she loves most about BHH is the work that each individual puts in and how well they all work together to improve each patient care visit. Outside of work Heather is a mother to a handsome boy and beautiful red headed twin girls that occupy all of her spare time.
Jo’Ann Luna Administrative Assistant
Jo’Ann joined Ballinger Home Health in 2019 as a CNA with over 23 years of experience and decided to move over into the office setting and be an Administrative Assistant. She is our smiling face when you walk into BHH and makes you feel right at home. She enjoys being able to work hand in hand with our patients and their families. In her down time, she enjoys spending time with her son, family, friends, cooking, watching sports and barbequing.
Monica Hagle Administrative Assistant
Monica has been an Administrative Assistant with Ballinger Home Health for 3 years. Her hard work and perseverance have landed her next to dedicated and hardworking people at BHH. She is a single mom devoted to her boys. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Our Nurses
Cassie Diaz, RNRegistered Nurse
Cassie is a RN and the ADON for Ballinger Home Health and Hospice. She is a Ballinger native and graduated as a Ballinger Bearcat in 2008. Cassie began her career in the medical field as a CNA for BHH in 2015. She continued on to receive her RN in 2021 all while remaining employed at BHH. Geriatrics is near and dear to her heart. Her passion is serving patients and their families by assisting them in any way to remain safe and comfortable at home. In her free time, Cassie enjoys spending time with family, watching her kids play sports, going to the gym, dancing, running and reading. Cassie looks forward to continuing to serve Ballinger and surrounding communities.
Kitty Morrison, RN Registered Nurse
Kitty has been a nurse for over 10 years, and has worked for Ballinger Home Health for over a year. Kitty loves being able to care for patients in their home where they are most comfortable, while receiving the care they need. She is very passionate about Hospice care because she feels as though while caring for the patient at the end of life, she is also able to comfort the family during that difficult time. Kitty enjoys spending time with her family outside of work.
Lena Frey, RN Registered Nurse
Lena has been an RN since 2017 and joined Ballinger Home Health in 2019. She enjoys spending time with her family, is always planning their next RV trip, reading and trying new recipes. Lena enjoys caring for our patients in their home and hearing all of their stories. She states, “It is an honor to be able to care for our community the way that we do.”
Cristina Strube, RN Registered Nurse
Cristina, “Cris”, is a Registered Nurse and has experience in women’s health, home health, and end-of-life care. She enjoys working out, cooking, and hanging out with family and friends. She is strong in her Catholic Faith and loves to share her faith with patients and their families, especially at the end of life. She believes God made her to hand out angel wings and call her hospice nurse. She believes nursing is not just a job, but a ministry to provide comfort, healing, and a special bond to patients and their families at the most difficult times in their lives. She takes pride in her job and is blessed to be a part of Ballinger Home Health and Hospice.
Debbie Lippie, RNRegistered Nurse
Debbie is a RN and has experience with cardiovascular care in hospitals in Abilene and San Antonio. She considers Hospice her specialty and she also work with Home Health. Debbie enjoys gardening, redoing furniture and shopping the “junk” stores. Ballinger Hospice of Ballinger and Ballinger Home Health has absolutely been my favorite job. All of our ladies work hard for our patients in helping them have the best quality of life with whatever their circumstances might be.
Elizabeth Palmer, LVNLicensed Vocational Nurse
Elizabeth “Liz” Is an LVN and has been with Ballinger Home Health since 2022. She has three beautiful children who keep her very busy. Liz enjoys traveling, baking, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Her favorite part of this job is making connections with her patients and keeping them safe at home.
Amy McKinney, RNRegistered Nurse
Amy is a RN for Ballinger Home Health, and has been a nurse since 2011. In her free time she enjoys golf, fishing, camping and spending time with her family.
Victoria Ruiz, CNA Certified Nursing Assistant
Victoria has 10 years of experience being a CNA and has been with BHH since 2021. Her goal is to make a lasting impression on not only the patient but their families as well. Victoria is a true Ballinger Bearcat at heart and loves that she is able to serve her community in such a way as this. In Victoria’s downtime she enjoys watching the Dallas Cowboys play and spending quality time with her family and friends. Ballinger Home Health is a family and Victoria states, “I love my job and the people here.”
Brandy Harrell, CNA Certified Nursing Assistant
Brandy has been a CNA for 24 years and enjoys visiting her patients each day to make a difference in their lives. Ballinger Home Health has been home to her for over 3 years, she enjoys plant thrifting and barbeque.
Yvonne Medina, CNA Certified Nursing Assistant
Yvonne has been a CNA for 11 years; she has spent most of her time in long-term care but states her transition to Home Health and Hospice has been extremely rewarding. Creating such strong bonds with families and patients we work with and having the honor of being by their side during such a difficult time has truly created such an appreciation for the work she does. Outside of being a CNA she still receives her joy from caring for her own family, reading and just spending time outside watching her little family grow. Continuing to be capable of working at what she truly believes she was called to do with such a strong family dynamic at Ballinger Home Health and Hospice is such a blessing. She hopes she can continue to impact the community and so many amazing families.
Patricia Perez, CNACertified Nursing Assistant
Patricia is a CNA for Ballinger Home Health and has been caring for patients for 7 years and was also a caregiver in the nursing home prior to coming to BHH. When coming to work her goal is to make her patients feel the best and comfortable in their own homes. When speaking about being a CNA Patricia says, “To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors.” Set aside from work she enjoys running around with her 3 kiddos and watching them experience everything life has to offer. Patricia enjoys watching her kids play sports, the Dallas Cowboys, shopping, working out and being surrounded by her family and friends.
Brandy Odom, LVNLicensed Vocational Nurses
Brandy is a LVN with Ballinger Home Health and Hospice. Brandy has been a nurse since 2009. Prior to becoming a nurse, she was a CNA, Med Aid and EMT for several years.
Peggy Hunt, LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse
Peggy is a LVN for Ballinger Home Health. She has been in nursing for 23 plus years. Peggy has been working in Hospice and Home Health for 16 of those years. She has been married 37 years with two children, son and daughter who has blessed their family with 6 grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family and making a difference in our patients care and well-being.
Management Team
Michelle AguileraAdministrator
Michelle is the Ballinger Home Health Administrator. She is a registered nurse and has experience in post- partum care, gynecology, home health, and end of life care. Michelle is also wound care certified. She enjoys running, golf, baking, and her family. “This isn’t just a job, it’s a family. I love our teamwork. We always put the patient before ourselves, no matter the cost.” When speaking of Hospice of Ballinger Michelle says, “There are no words to describe how it feels to make one’s final days of life comfortable and peaceful. To be able to connect with a client and their family is a gift. I am proud to give my all to them every day.”
Stephanie HiteOffice Manager
Stephanie has been an LVN since 2006. She is the office manager at BHH. She spends her free time reading, working in the yard and enjoying family. She helps create the family atmosphere that is embraced by the employees here.
Whitney Young DONDirector of Nursing
Whitney is the Director of Nursing and Alt. Administrator at Ballinger Home Health and Hospice. She has been a registered nurse for 18 years. She is a mother of two and enjoys spending time with her family. The best part of working in Home Health and Hospice is being able to care for patients in the comfort of their home and providing support for their families.
Marina DiazDirector of Physical Therapy
Marina is the Physical Therapist for Ballinger Home Health. She received her degree from Texas Tech University and has been a PT for 14 years. She has been with BHH for 12 years. Marina is married to Jose Diaz and together they have 3 boys, Corbann, Drake and Slade. Marina thoroughly enjoys her career. She strives everyday to make an impact in her patient’s lives, whether it be big or small. Her primary goal is to improve the quality and function of her patient’s lives. Nothing makes her happier than witnessing her patients reach their goals, improve their physical status and regain their independence.
